One price per mandate – and three tiers so it fits
Most fiduciary solutions know only one price tag per mandate. Whether you run a client's complete books including payroll or only produce the payslips – you pay the same.
At Accounty there are three tiers. A mandate with external payroll costs CHF 12 instead of CHF 19, a pure payroll mandate CHF 9. That adds up: managing 40 mandates without running payroll for a third of them saves around CHF 90 a month versus a flat price.
The tiers differ in scope, not in the build level: if you license the financial accounting, you get it in full – with cost centres, foreign currencies, QR-bill, VAT, guided year-end closing and 50 AI document analyses per mandate and month. If you license the payroll, you get it in full – without employee limit and without surcharge per payslip. Within a tier there are no module bundles, no headcount scaling and no additional licences for your team.
Conversely: the “Without payroll” tier contains no payroll, and the “Payroll only” tier contains no financial accounting – hence no VAT return, no receivables and payables, no cost centres, no year-end closing and no AI document analysis. If a mandate needs both, the “All modules” tier at CHF 19 is cheaper than the two single tiers combined.

A tier can be changed at any time. If a mandate needs payroll after all, you upgrade it to “All modules” – that takes effect immediately and is billed pro rata.

A licence can be upgraded at any time – that takes effect immediately and is billed pro rata. A downgrade takes effect at the start of the next billing period.
Automation upgrades
Additional AI document quota for the whole organisation – separate from the mandate licences.
Every mandate with financial accounting brings 50 AI document analyses per month with it. That suffices for most mandates. For the few document-heavy ones you need no dearer licence package: you book one upgrade for the organisation. It is a shared monthly pool – it is only drawn on once a mandate has used up its 50, and it does not matter which mandate that is.

Prices incl. 8.1% VAT, cancel monthly. The upgrade comes in addition to the mandate licences – it does not replace them and changes nothing about the price per mandate.
No hard limit. If consumption in a month exceeds the quota, we block nothing and back-bill nothing. We only get in touch when the extra need becomes permanent – then the next higher tier is cheaper for you.
For one-off extra needs there is still the AI pool as a one-time purchase: 100 analyses for CHF 20, usable organisation-wide and without expiry. Both can be combined – the monthly quota is used first, so purchased credit does not lapse.

What does Accounty cost for fiduciaries?
Three tiers per mandate and month, each plus VAT: all modules CHF 19, without payroll CHF 12, payroll only CHF 9. With annual payment, two monthly instalments are waived. The first two months are free.
What are the three tiers for?
Not every mandate needs everything. If payroll runs externally, you pay CHF 12 instead of CHF 19. If you only run payroll for a client, it is CHF 9. Booking both separately costs CHF 21 – so the full package is cheaper.
What is included in which tier?
The tiers separate finance and payroll. “All modules” contains both. “Without payroll” contains full financial accounting with VAT, receivables, payables, cost centres, foreign currencies, year-end closing and AI document analysis, but no payroll. “Payroll only” contains full payroll with no employee limit, but no financial accounting – so no VAT returns, no receivables and payables, no cost centres, no year-end closing and no AI document analysis. Within a tier there are no further module surcharges.
What does getting started cost?
The first two months are free. After that you pay twelve monthly fees per year — depending on the licence CHF 19, CHF 12 or CHF 9 per mandate. There is no additional annual discount for fiduciaries; instead, the first two months are free.
Can I upgrade a mandate later?
Yes. An upgrade takes effect immediately and is billed pro rata. A downgrade takes effect at the start of the next billing period.

How many AI document analyses are included per mandate?
50 analyses per mandate and month in the “All modules” and “Without payroll” tiers. Document analysis belongs to financial accounting and is therefore not included in “Payroll only”. If more is needed, an organisation-wide AI pool can be added that is shared across all mandates.
Is payroll really unlimited in headcount?
Yes, in the “All modules” and “Payroll only” tiers. There is no scaling by headcount and no surcharge per payslip.
How does the two-month starting phase work?
After registration we review your fiduciary account and activate it. You then work free of charge for two months with full functionality. Only afterwards does billing start – with no automatic extension into a minimum term.
Can I bring mandates over from my current software?
Yes. Charts of accounts, addresses, open items and journals can be imported. Employee master data and payslips can be taken over as well.
Does the client pay or the fiduciary?
Both are possible. You can carry the licence yourself and recharge it, or have the client billed directly.
