SEBONA Treuhand Böhner
Founded 2020, based at Hohstrasse 1 in Kloten. We look after SMEs and private individuals in the greater Zurich, Zug and Schwyz area – from ongoing bookkeeping through payroll and VAT to year-end closing and the tax return.
The team combines over 75 years of accounting experience, from industries such as automotive, consulting, real estate and hospitality. So we have not only booked but also worked operationally – and therefore know pretty precisely where daily work gets stuck.

Why we built our own software
The honest answer: out of frustration. Not with any single provider – the established Swiss solutions do good work, we have worked with them for years and know them from the inside. But with a pattern we kept meeting in mandate work.
The module thicket
A client wants to do payslips: add-on module. Wants to keep stock: add-on module. Hires a fifth employee: next package up. In the end you sit with the customer working out which combination currently costs least – instead of talking about their business.
Prices that rise – value that stays put
We experienced it several times: licence costs tighten, the package gets rebuilt, features migrate to a higher tier. The customer pays more and notices nothing in daily work. We had to hold those conversations – and we rarely had good arguments.
At some point we stopped being annoyed about it and started building it ourselves.
What came of it
Accounty is the proof that the opposite is possible:
- All modules included – general ledger, receivables with QR-bill, payables, inventory, VAT, bank, reports, cost centres
