How does Accounty differ from KLARA?

Which KLARA data does Accounty take over?
Accounty reads the PDF exports of the balance sheet, income statement and journal from KLARA. If a PDF contains several reports (for example an additional one «without zero accounts»), Accounty reads only the first. Sub-accounts without their own number are merged into their main account.
What happens to the KLARA year-end closing entry?
The closing entry «Year End Closing» (account 9200) is skipped during import. Accounty calculates the annual result itself, otherwise it would be counted twice.
When is KLARA the better fit?
If you need Swissdec-certified payroll reporting or servers in Switzerland. Accounty currently offers neither.
